Pioneering the Unknown

When I think of what I am trying to do with(CBEX) the thought of Christopher Columbus comes to mind.

"In 1492, Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue." Think of the faith that took, people most certainly said that he was crazy to go and explore this unknown land. Not even knowing if he would get there or what it might take on the journey to the new land.

He pioneered a journey to a place that had only been heard of before, but going to this new land taking only past experiences, and not having any knowledge of the new. Pushing past the negative opinions of others and having full confidence in who he reported to. Leading a team who trusted in Columbus because they had confidence in his leadership and who he reported to.

I apply a lot of this logic on my current endeavors into pioneering the unknown. Webshows are a thing of the future, and CBEX is about all of that. We are walking into the unknown, and applying new strategies. Some think we are crazy, and many don't even know what we are doing.

Everyone has their own opinion on what we need to do or where we need to go. Respecting everyone's opinion and help, but I need to go on this excursion with me and just the Lord.

The greatest feeling is when others come along side of you to support this vision. Tonight I was asked to take part in my first ever Twitter party with GotCountryonline.com it was truly a great honor. I realized through this, that people need someone to believe in. They want you to get there, because deep down they want to get there themselves.

We all need a hero and we often find it in others. They are the ones we look up to, and the people who are going before us into the unknown. Life is lived through this vision and the wisdom of others that lead us to our destination/purpose.

My encouragement to you is that you be someone's Pioneer, be that hero to someone. Look to the people around you to encourage you a long the way. Lean on the Lord and his plan as you step out.

You will have obstacles before you, and won't always know how to handle them. Do not let that stop you, there is excitement in the unknown.

If you get lost in the mess of life, you will lose sight of the beauty.

Be bold, be Brave, be a pioneer.

For Everything there is a season

As I think about my life, and reflect on all that God has given me the ability to do. So much has changed over the last couple of years, and what would make me think that things would stop changing because it is inevitable that things will continue to change. I look at my life and I am so thankful, God has given me so much and I truly believe that He has blessed me with so many amazing new opportunities! I have been blessed by my church, and the amazing family it has provided me. I have been given the ability to speak into peoples lives that I never would have thought would be possible. I am so humbled because that was never a goal for me, and yet it has blessed me beyond all words. Lately God has started to shake things up a bit for me as well, and I am still learning that I have so far to go. I am learning so much about where I am that it is crazy. Encouragement is like Water to the Soul, it makes Everything Grow

In life I think back on my journey, and I think about the things that truly matter along the road thus far. I remember people along the way that have encouraged me and supported me. I think most of us in life would agree that encouragement is so important. Most us crave the cheerleaders in life that root for us along the way. Many of us have our parents that have been a source of encouragement, our siblings can often offer support. Hopefully each of you have had a teacher or boss that have encouraged you as well. Looking back on my life I have had some great support in chasing my dreams. I remember I was in the 8th grade at Mascoutah Middle School when I auditioned to host our talent show.
