Gone, Gone, Gone-Phillip Phillips- on Music Monday

Image
Exclusive cover only available here! It's not often in Pop music that you find a talent that truly steps outside of the box and provides music that has meaning and a clean message. To one of the true talents that came from American Idol, other than Kelly Clarkson the original, and Carrie Underwood. A tough feat for the males of Idol struggling to find success past alums include: Ruben Studdard with a short lived career, Taylor Hicks with a few moments of success, Kris Allen which has quality music but failed to stay on his label, and David Cook that has been commercially unsuccessful. Scotty Mccreery is an exception to this standard since he has had success in the Country genre. A breath of fresh air Phillips has been to the music scene breaking the boundaries of ordinary Pop music. Phillips had a huge success with his crowning song "Home." Now going on to bring his second single from his debut album, "The World from the Side of the Moon," "Gone, G...

Chris Kyle Navy Seal Remembered

Image
Today we honor Chris Kyle, a former Navy Seal. Protecting and defending our country for the name of America. Kyle was one of America's deadliest military snipers.  The Pentagon said his skills with a rifle so terrorized Iraqi insurgents during his four tours of duty that they nicknamed him the “Devil of Ramadi” and put a bounty on his head. He returned home to become a best selling author and also mentored several other veterans.  On Saturday Kyle was turned on by Eddie Ray Routh. O fficials said that for reasons that were still unclear, Mr. Routh shot and killed both Kyle and another man(Chad Littlefield) with a semiautomatic handgun before fleeing in a pickup truck belonging to Mr. Kyle.  More information is being released on this story. A Hero Lies in you

Image
We often underestimate the need for a hero. One person impacting the world. Jesus was our hero. He saved us for more than we can ever know or comprehend.  We read in John 3:16 For God so loved  the world that he gave  his one and only Son,  that whoever believes  in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Today the world is crying for boldness, heroes. The truth is that we can help rescue those in bondage we can help break the chains of addiction.  Love conquers all.  And now abide faith, hope, love, these three;  but the greatest of these is love. I Corinthians 13:13 Today I wanted to find a hero that I could honor. Someone that impacted lives beyond themselves. Selflessly and something could have not been done in their own strength, but in the duty to love others. I want to honor Doreen Winkler, she saved two men who were in their own minds on, deaths fingers. They were on the brink of getting hit by a subwa...
