Honoring the Hero in you
Past Honoree: Kaitlin Roig, Chris Kyle, Doreen Winkler, Tony Buuck, Zach Bonner, Allan Fonseca. (Jesus on the Cross pictured center. |
My vision for this day is to honor ordinary people doing extraordinary things. I feel that this will show each of us that even though we are everyday people we can still impact the world and make the change through Christ. We each have the ability to help create this world better. I choose to honor a variety of different heroes in this section I feel that there are so many different aspects that describe a one.
Today's excuses are tomorrows regrets dressed in disguise.

Let us not miss the opportunities of today, but be challenged by possibility of hope.
Many of us will never get a medal to honor us with a day by our country, but that should never be our incentive. We should be driven by the love of Christ in us. Pouring into our communities around us. Small acts of kindness can bring hope to the world around us. If we embrace one another where we are; then we can help guide where each of us is going.
One random act of kindness a small sacrifice that we each make to help a hurting world. I say that is our challenge to be someone's Jesus today. Who can you help? As we focus on others we forget about our problems and our situations get better. I know that sound crazy but if you truly want to test the method I don't think that you will be disappointed. Serving is a drug it is the greatest high that you could ever feel.
Today my Hero of the day is you! I believe in you! I know that you can do this! Let us come together and drive the world in the a better direction by helping one another.
I pray strength, peace, and endurance over each person that reads this. No matter when or where you might find it. Today is your day! You are a Hero!
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
-Romans 12:10-11
