What am I willing to fight for?
God has been pressing on me lately, "What am I willing to fight for." What means more to me than anything. What am I passionate about, and how much does it mean to me.
That may seem like a simple question or for some that may be a very thoughtless question, but for me there is importance. There is value there because if it means something to God then it means something to me.
I know first and formost I would fight for my Faith, I would fight for Christ because I believe so strongly that he has saved me from myself and that is something that I am forever grateful for. He transformed my life from nothing to something. His Love is forever and there is so much value in that for all of us. We need not search anymore because he is all that we need in life. His relationship shall sustain anything we ever thought the world could give us.
Have you ever thought where you might be if not for the Man who saved us. He was brought into this world to give us life and life more abuntantly. How profound, how incredible, so much was given for so little that we have ever done.
Secondly, I thought about what else I would fight for, and that answer would be Providental Relationships. My family classifys in this category because there Love is so amazing and if not for their prayers I would not be where I am today and I would fight to the death for them. They know me better than anyone ever has. That is a value to me.
I would also fight for the realtionships that God has put before me that are of him. The amazing Christians he has set on my path to help make this life AMAZING. My Mentors, My Mentee, My Friends, My Outreach. I would do anything to make sure that no one harms these relationships. Yes we will have adversity, but nothing can ever break these God ordained relationships. God can move them, but if it's not him moving I will fight. In my spirit I'll know if it is of him, but if not you better believe that the gloves will come off.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17
How about you? What are you willing to fight for? Search your heart and search your soul.
