The House That Built Me
Well let me tell you, I thought I knew everything about the world a year ago....What I realized is that I was wrong.
This past year has been difficult and yet exciting at the same time. Life has thrown obstacles in front of me, and miracles as well. God has done some awesome things in my life...things that I never thought were possible.
There have been sleepless nights and there have been overslept mornings as well. I feel as though I am in the right place even though sometimes I feel like it is taking forever to make my dreams happen.
I have made some friends and I have lost some friends. What inspires me is that anything worth doing is worth the struggle. Although many of my friends are dear to my heart I cannot say it enough seasons come and go just like friends.
I have learned that no matter what I want or how I feel; God knows all.
Why am I writing this thought for you to read today? Well I guess because I want you to know that it can be done. You can live your dream. It may not always be the kind of dream that you want it to be, but how will you ever know if you don't go for it.
Over the past couple of days my eyes have really been opened. I have gotten to see a devastating flood, something I never thought I would see first handed. I have met some victims and I have met some helping hands. All I can say is that their stories have been completely amazing. So amazing that I can't believe they were real. In America we are here to speak the word of truth. Help our fellow brothers and sisters.(Yes help not judge which we tend to do so much.)
I am hit with a word that speaks volumes to me:
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Psalm 91:1-2
So the Journey of my life continues and I walk knowing that my creator has a purpose for my life. The Sun will rise again on Nashville.
