My favorite day! Music Monday is back and I am so excited to bring you one of my favorite tracks of the year. Lately my life has become this journey, where I am searching for myself and chasing my dreams. Yearning for more than just the normal life that some settle for. Through this time I have found songs that bring me much encouragement for the road ahead. So it is a pure treat for me to bring you this song!! "I Lived" by OneRepublic, the song has enough power in it for you to chase whatever passion you have in life. It's sending us a charge, to live everyday to it's fullest. Never settling for the status quo but rising to the challenge of living a life worth feeling accomplished with.

 Ryan Tedder is no stranger to writing quality songs, after penning such tracks in the past for powerhouses: "Bleeding Love,"(Leona Lewis) Rumor Has it,"(Adele) and "Already Gone."(Kelly Clarkson.) Tedder delivers another song that will receive just as much attention as his past hits. I hope listening to this track will provide you the desire to live your dreams and never allow one thing to hold you back. I have been so excited to share this song with you since the beginning of the month and now it is finally time!! Now, I don't have an interview with the band, but we can still appreciate the greatness of the song and play it until there are scratches on our CD's or until our Ipods break. Take a minute and let the lyrics hit you and sink in to your heart!

As I think about my life, and reflect on all that God has given me the ability to do. So much has changed over the last couple of years, and what would make me think that things would stop changing because it is inevitable that things will continue to change. I look at my life and I am so thankful, God has given me so much and I truly believe that He has blessed me with so many amazing new opportunities! I have been blessed by my church, and the amazing family it has provided me. I have been given the ability to speak into peoples lives that I never would have thought would be possible. I am so humbled because that was never a goal for me, and yet it has blessed me beyond all words. Encouragement is like Water to the Soul, it makes Everything Grow

In life I think back on my journey, and I think about the things that truly matter along the road thus far. I remember people along the way that have encouraged me and supported me. I think most of us in life would agree that encouragement is so important. Most us crave the cheerleaders in life that root for us along the way. Many of us have our parents that have been a source of encouragement, our siblings can often offer support. Hopefully each of you have had a teacher or boss that have encouraged you as well.
