I knew you were Trouble
It's no secret, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy we read in John 10:10.
The enemy is trained he has studied us. He thinks he know how to hurt us. In the process we can end up feeling pretty hurt.
The enemy can dress something to appeal us, he can make sin look pretty darn good. We are tricked in our weakness.
The bible say,
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Ephesians 6:12
So it's no surprised that we are considered a threat. The enemy knows that if we are fully devoted to the life of Christ and spreading the Gospel he will not be able to win this fight. He laughs as we are taken down by sins of addictions, religion, and sexual immorality.
Religion I use as an example is because we can be so far away from God when we are steeming on Religion, Jesus came so that we might have a relationship with the Lord. He came to give us life, and life more abundantly. We must love one another and bring people to Christ not chase them away.
Sex, is a good thing, but it's meant for a man and woman after they have taken the covenent of marriage. For more detail please read my blog on 2 Become 1 I strongly suggest reading it.
Addictions are distraction because we are not focused on him, we get on drugs, alcohol, pornography or some other thing holding us back from our ultimate purpose.
Trouble walks in when we let our guards down. When we see something dressed in temptation, and made to look appealing in our weakness.
I use Taylor Swift's song I knew you were Trouble because it's a very popular song right now. It's also a great song to the enemy and speaking to our weakness.
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
Flew me to places i'd never been
Now i'm lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh, trouble, trouble, trouble
Now you may think you are going to places you have never been, but in the end you will be lying on the cold hard ground. Mad and frustrated at yourself. I know because I have been there.
What does God say?
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Thank you Jesus, and Taylor Swift for the inspiration to write this.

Psalm 23:4
We can learn so much from Jesus,
Matthew 4:1-11
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[b]”
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”
7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]”
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[e]”
11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
So the next time you know the trouble of the enemy is working walk away, run avoid him. Even though he has made it look appealing in the end it will not benefit you. It will only hurt you more.
