Soaring on wings like Eagles

What a year this has been, and what an amazing journey every step has been. I turned 24 this year, and as I reflected on the last year I realized how truly blessed that I am. I have such a loving family back home that is growing daily. I get to hear amazing testimonies from them which is so awesome and encouraging. It makes me smile. I Love that God has moved in so many amazing ways, and even though I am not there I know that the bond of family can never be broken. I have such amazing friends here in Nashville, God provided me some pretty incredible people. I had always prayed for a brother and feel that God has really provided there. I have been made feel like family at my church, and in our youth. The Oasis Church has truly given me so many things, and I am so thankful to God for providing that!

I had learned so truly amazing things this year as I grow in the word and in the body. God has been with me every step of the way, and I think it's important to remember that because I think I forget that sometimes. Not intentionally but as God strengthens my faith I continue to remind myself, He shall not forsake me. Jesus died on the cross what I am going through is nothing in comparison.

Have you noticed that many distractions are placed before you, and they all are attempting to take your focus off of God. The truth shall win and it always does so there is no fear inside me to think that any of this shall remain. The enemy will get tired and try something new to shake it up in a different way. What is so awesome though is that I read this devotional the other day and it really spoke to me:
In your life journey, there will be setbacks and possibly even failures. There will certainly be situations that you did not plan for. There were many attempts to the moon before the first successful manned mission of Apollo 11. Do not be influenced or discouraged by your previous failed attempts. The God who has given you the vision will give you victory.

We have the victory. We should never forget that. Our mountains shall melt before us leaving nothing but evidence that we conquered them through him. I know that often we feel as if we have tried so many times and failed so many times as well, but the victory shall be ours.

Walk out your faith, faith is trust and once we realize that we will get so much further. Faith is a relationship with God that we have to have.

God didn't get us this far to leave us, the job you lost, the sickness you have, the financial difficulties that you may be going through. I guarantee you will make it through and you will have testimony to share with others as a result, the evidence that God got you through.

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
~Isaiah 40:31

Put your hope in him and you will never be disappointed. I Love this verse it proves to me that He shall not ever fail us.

You got this!!
